Blawan Bondowoso Waterfall is downstream from Kali Pahit.
Downstream is seepage from Ijen Crater. The unique thing about this waterfall is the yellow color of the water. Most waterfalls do have clear water, but Blawan Waterfall does not. The yellow color of the water comes from the high sulfur content. Around the waterfall is also surrounded by macadamia plants and Jackiela SP moss which adds to the intense color.
Besides the yellow water, there are other things that make this waterfall unique. The uniqueness of this waterfall is from the mouth of the waterfall. The estuary of this waterfall goes straight into the ground as well as the mouth of Niagara Falls in America. But in the end this waterfall will empties into the Asembagus area, Situbondo. Blawan waterfall has a fairly deep height of 30 m with a very heavy water discharge so that visitors can hear the roar from a distance. Unfortunately, visitors cannot bathe under the Blawan waterfall because the water discharge is too heavy.
