Alas Purwo National Park is one area for hundred of type of flora and fauna in Indonesia. Alas Purwo is located at the southeastern tip of Java Island, namely Banyuwangi, East Java.
Alas Purwo National Park has an area of approximately 43,420 hectare and is divided into several zone section, namely the core zone 17,200 ha, forest zone 24,767 ha, use zone 250 ha

-Caves, savanna, and beaches. One of the most famous caves is Goa Istana, which is said to have eternal darkness suitable for those of you who like challenges when traveling.Meanwhile,the beaches consist of Parang Ireng Beach,
-Ngagelan Beach,Pancur Beach and
– Plengkung Beach.
If you have plans to go to Banyuwangi, it’s a good idea to join the event held by the local government in the Sport Tourism event,namely the Alas Purwo Geopark Green Run on November 17, 2019. This event aims to promote the Alas Purwo national park and is proposed to be part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network one of the United Nations agencies dealing with education, science and culture.

Sadengan
Initially Sadengan was a feeding ground for Banteng (Bos javanicus) as a priority animal for management. As in Africa, it turns out that Sadengan is also a gathering place for various types of wildlife to socialize and find food.Apart from bulls, wildlife that are often encountered include deer, deer, forest dogs (Ajag), green peacock, white starling and several type of birds. The best wildlife observations are in the morning at 05.30 – 09.00 and in the afternoon at 15.00-18.00 local time.
Bedul
Bedul is located on the Segoro Anakan River which is the largest river in the Alas Purwo National Park area with a length of 16 km. Bedul is surrounded by an intact mangrove ecosystem that functions as a breeding area and nesting area for several types of water birds, such as; Tongtong Crane, Crested Sea Dove and River Chuck. Traditionally, Bedul is a fishing area for crabs, clams, shrimp and fish. Ecotourism in Bedul has been developed by the community together with the Alas Purwo National Park Office, equipped with several supporting facilities such as gondang-gandong (traditional boats), prayer rooms, food stalls, parking lots and gazebos.
The name G-Land indicates from the word Grajagan,which is the name of a bay.
G-land or Plengkung Beach is surrounded by unspoiled and beautiful tropical forests, thus offering a complete package for sightseeing and sports.
Plengkung Beach or commonly referred to as G-Land, is one of the beaches in Banyuwangi and has been popularly known as “The Seven Giant Waves Wonder”. given by a surfer of the world for its stunning wave rolls.
This beach is located as part of the Alas Purwo National Park and the waves on this beach are among the best in the world, with waves as high as 4-6 meters along 2 Km in a formation of 7 tiered waves. For that, it is not wrong that Plengkung beach is a paradise for world professional surfers who want to conquer the swish of this G-Land.
Apart from Plengkung,only Hawaii, Australia, and South Africa have such terrible waves.The waves at Plengkung are second only to Hawaii and have continuous waves all year round. Peak waves in Plengkung only exist in certain months between April to August. Therefore, it is not surprising that Plengkung has become an international surfing event five times
